This is a reprint of an article that appeared in the Journal American Newspaper.  It is not dated but my guess is that is came out in the mid 1990s.

Food Drive article from 2002

Back in the early days of my Annual Food Drive I would enlist a team of helpers including Boy Scout & Girl Scout troops to assist in the preparation of the food drive. Multiple teams went throughout Klahanie  to pick up donations and drop off a pumpkins to each doorstep.  2002 was a banner year.
